Hello folks,
Happy Spring! It is that time of year to get out to the Drive-Ins, Speedways, and Drag Strips!
I know the gas is expensive but don't let that stop you from having fun!
On the drive-in front, they are all open except the Hi-Way which will be open on Memorial Day Weekend.
I have posted some "new" old pics of the Mt. Clemens DI demo so check them out!
As for indoor theaters, I finally got out and got a proper pic of the Harbor 1&2 in Muskegon and the Fremont Cinemas. Don Gurka
has done a great thing and took a full set of pics of the wonderful Quo Vadis Theater in Westland, which sadly is slated for demolition.
Don and his friends should be commended for fighting the good fight to save the theater. Be sure to check out their web site here.
I have also posted some speedway pics, notably some pics of the old Western Michigan Speedway that I was able to find out in the woods in Fruitport. I have also posted
some new pics sent in by our loyal contributors, check the "latest pics" sections for those.
