The private, 18-hole Genesee Hills Golf Course goes back to 1926 (Golf Now states 1949). It was known to be an affordable course that catered to working folks in the auto industry. The architects were Don Childs and John Zaliagiris. It was redesigned in 2005 but sadly closed by 2013. There is a building on site today has a sign on it called "Cardinal's Grill" that appears to have been affiliated with the golf course. I would assume this was the old clubhouse with a restaurant.
