Hillman Lanes goes back to the 1950's. From what I can gather it is the building to the left of the old Hillman Theater. There is a rear portion that goes to the back which would allow for the 6 lanes it once housed. I found an old master listing for bowling alleys in Michigan from 1990 and it had the address as 222 State St but all that was there was an old baseball diamond. However, there is also addresses in the 200 range downtown where the A-1 Party Mart sits as of 2024. The historical photo seems to indicate some structures were combined and the bowling alley which would have been on the left got merged with the store.
