Riviera Recreation goes back to the late 1920's. Bowling was a big deal in Detroit that time. There were a couple dozen alleys at least and the scores were published in the newspapers. I included a full page from back then to show that. In the 1940's, Fred Willett ran the alley. He also invented a bowling ball cleaning machine. Notably, Paul "Dizzy" Trout and some other major league ball players played the women's team here in Dec 1945.
The last mention I see of the alley being open was from 1960 but it may have lasted longer than that. As for the building, the street view indicates 2 structures that sort of occupy the old address and neither one was the old alley. According to historical aerial photography, there was a larger building right on the street corner that was the alley. You can see in the 1973 aerial that building was gone by then.
