I am not sure if the Phlopp House was a real place or just a gag. I have the postcards and 1 article from the Chicago Tribune which can be seen below. It's not very explanatory. I will assume the ramshackle structure in the photo did indeed exist on the side of Old 27 in Frederic. Where it was exactly I am not sure. I found another gag postcard for the Stumble Inn.
