This place was opened by R Tuveson (probably in the early 40's) and included 14 apartments plus a lodge. It had a beach with shuffleboard, fishing and boating on Magician Lake. The rooms had knotty pine walls electric stoves, refrigerators, hot water, beds, showers, and kitchens. The lodge was a 4 bedroom job with 2 full baths. It had 285 feet lake frontage.
The street is listed as Route 1 but that doesn't really exist as of 2023. My guess would be it was on the southern shore of Magician Lake as the postcard seems to show an island in the distance which could be Hemlock or Rattlesnake Island. The historical aerial photos aren't definitive because the old linen postcard doesn't really show how the buildings were laid out. There was a smattering of articles on it with the old postcard so I don't have much to go on.
