Actually, the Alco did not sit empty at all, it was in full operation until it sold. It is a small town and the owners were ready to sell and well, the theatre was very old and in need of repair. Unfortunately no one wanted to take on that endeaver and now we have this little mini mall thing. Its really quite sad, that was our only form of entertainment in the entire county! Now, we just have a bunch of bars woohoo! Thats always good for the kids!
