Photo from 1959 shows the West End exterior with a nice streamline marquee, letters WE in a circle above attraction. Above the marquee is a sign that reads "West End Theatre" which is extending from the building, visible to motorists coming on either side of the street. The exterior itself is quite simple, two brick columns with attraction windows flanking entry, and above entry is a a half cicle. At time the photo was taken, the marquee reads "Open soon west end roller skating" with next line reading "watch opening". It appears that the rink was in the process of being converted into a roller rink.
