The Olympic Theatre was open prior to 1926. It seated 300 and closed in 1929. There is now a parking lot where the old theater was if the 4820 address was correct. There is some conflict on the street address. Cinema Treasures indicates 4820 Michigan but an old classified ad indicates 4208. There was an earlier theater known as the Olympic in the 1800's at Congress and Randolph also. That one burned in Feb of 1869.
