I finally found a reference to this theater in an article about a stabbing from 1945 so evidently this place did exist. I'm going to go out on a limb and say this theater was on Fairfield St. The article indicates one of the victims of the stabbing had attended the Fairfield Theatre that evening so I figured it may have been near her residence. That doesn't pan out because Fairfield St is 8 miles from her place on Benton. The participants were also pin setters at Denby Lanes (burned in 1995) and that isn't too close to anything either. I will keep looking for an address for the Fairfield but at least I know it existed.
