AKA: Chandler
This east-side neighborhood theatre was still going in the early 40's, as the Detroit News movie guide indicates. The 1941 version has the name as the Chandler, with a (new) designation next to it. This probably corresponds to when the name changed from the Chalmers to the Chandler. Long gone, it closed sometime in the later forties.

The place was a bodyshop around 1984-85 when I worked down the street at Harpos.
