This theater goes back to the late 1930's at least. It was converted to a roller rink as the 2 obituaries below indicate. I am using the address from the 1950 article mentioning the theater. The confusing part of this is that there were apparently 2 roller rinks in that area. One was destroyed by fire in the 1940's and there was another mentioned to be on N. Allen Rd. One of those housed the theater. Sparlingville used to have a nice little downtown but not much remains of that today.
