Open in the 1950's, the theater eventually closed and the building was used for other purposes. There is a building still standing which has a placard that reads "Opera House". It is now an outdoor center.
Given the fact the theater was once used as a marine dealer in the past (see 1964 ad below), it wouldn't be a stretch to assume this is in fact the old theater site. It does have that "look" in terms of the shape and size of the building. I have used that address for now.
