There may have been 2-4 theaters in Reading. There are references to the Idle Hour, The Dreamland, The Lyric and The Reading. In 1947, there is an article about a new theater being built there. It's hard to know if these are separate and distinct or just renaming of the same theater over the years. I do not have an address yet for this theater but 139 E. Michigan is an interesting possibility. I have no basis for that other than the way it looks to me. The American Motion Picture Directory lists the Lyric as being on Main. I will find the proper address in time, rest assured. Thanks to James Thompson for info on this.
