The Unionville Facebook group had some good information. Here is the text of a caption from the curtain photo below: "We know that Unionville had a movie theatre from at least 1932, when the Temple Theatre opened. It was later called the Radio Theatre and then the Unionville Theatre, and it went out of business maybe in the early 1940s. It was located just south of the stoplight on the east side, about next to the former funeral home. But, in its glory days, here is a view of the theatre curtain, as April Eremia Gremel found in this 1930s photo, as published in the "Unionville 125 History Book" back in 2004. Look at the range of local businesses doing a little advertising before each movie would begin (and theatres still do that today)":
This theater goes back to the late 1920's at least. This is probably the same house that operated as the Unionville Theatre and the Temple. There are several buildings on Bay St. and Center St. that are potential candidates for the building, if indeed it still stands.
