I remember attending a movie there in the late '50s. It closed in the early '60s. The building was condemned and torn down around the late '80s to early '90s. The lot sat vacant until just a few months ago when a building was constructed on the site. Unfortunately, some of the old brick on the sidewalk was torn out at that time, and supposedly trashed. Further research indicates the Evart Theatre closed in 1963. The picture was probably taken between 1963 - 1965.
