The Star Theatre was opened by 1926 and was still open in 1927. By 1928 it had been renamed Eldorado Theatre. It had closed by 1929. It still had its original decorative facade on show until around 2015 when it was covered with aluminium sheeting. The building is in use as the Side Street Tavern. [Cinema Treasures]
