Medford L. Krueger launched his automated Jerry Lewis Cinema single-screen franchised theatre in 1973. It was Lambertville’s first movie theater, a town just north of Toledo, Ohio. He sold the theatre in 1981 which became the Bedford Cinema.
Its location is within Bedford township encompassing both Lambertville and Temperance in Monroe County. The theatre’s continuous operation ended in 1987. The cinema was used for other purposes and was remodeled in 2004 losing its auditorium and projection area. [Cinema Treasures]
