I finally checked the street views on this and the building still stands, at least of 2018. The similarity between the empty drug store and the theater pictured in the 1971 grand opening ad is unmistakable. The brown brick portion seen on the above left would have been the auditorium area, the lower part in front would have been the box office and concession area. I believe the stores to the left of the old theater building were added sometime after 1971. I am using the address of the H&R Block next door as that is the closest Google Maps will get to the building.

Opened in 1969 as part of the Riverland Shopping Center. Closed in 1978. It was a single-screen suburban theatre owned and operated by R&R Theatre Company. Sister auditorium to Shelby I & II, among others. United Artists Lakeside 4 and Showcase Cinemas on 15 Mile and Van Dyke put them under. Projection room had Norelco projectors with 70mm capabilities.
