I have a feeling Fox River Motel operated under a different name early on. Was it the Seney Motel in the news photo below? I am not sure. Given that, I am also going to include photos of an unknown motel in Seney that is off the road a bit. THAT could be the Seney Motel. There was also a motel called McArthur Motel. Was that one of the others under a different name? Maybe.
For now I will include this info here and as I get more facts I will update this listing. There is also Locke's Motel & Restaurant (Seney Country Inn) which I have a separate listing on already. Back to this motel, the Fox River is still operating in 2026 with great reviews.
