This motel was built in the late 1980's or early 1990's. It was eventually demolished in 2024 to make way for Marquette GMC. I have a feeling this place may have operated under different names but I am not finding much on it in the newspaper archives.

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - A new car dealership is taking the place of an old hotel in Marquette.
Marquette GMC will soon begin construction for its new location at the intersection of McClellan and US-41. The new site used to house the Old Value Host Motor Inn, Located right across from Jeffrey’s restaurant. The dealership’s General Manager Nikki Remilong says the move is part of a company pilot program. She says the program’s goal is all about what they call a new facility image.
“We are excited to provide a better facility, a bigger facility, and more parking for our community and our customers with better conveniences and updated technology,” Remilong said. Remilong also says the business will remain at its current location on Baraga Avenue for now and construction should begin in the spring.
