This resort goes back to the 1940's and was catering to hunters in the earlier days but also tried to attract skiers later on. It was operated by Lonnie and Opal Burgett. Apparently it was right on Lake Missaukee but I don't have the exact address yet. There were a series of cabin style resorts on the South shore with a beach so I will assume it was on Lakeview Drive. It operated under the "American Plan" which at the time meant everything was included such as meals.
