This place has been around since the 1930's. It is located on Fletcher's Pond AKA the Fletcher Floodwaters. It is vintage as hell and the reviews are excellent. They have cottages, lodge rooms, campground, a marina, dock with launch, and whatever else you need to fish and have fun on the pond. I guess they have excellent pike fishing in there.
About Fletcher Pond from Wikipedia:
Fletcher Pond (also called Fletcher Floodwaters) is a man-made body of water located in Northeastern Michigan. The pond covers over 9,000 acres (36 km2) of land that was previously cedar forest. A dam was built in 1931 that blocked the flow of the Thunder Bay River to provide reserve water for the Alpena Power Company hydroelectric power plant located in the city of Alpena, Michigan.
