These old Cabins and gas station go back to the 1930's. It was built by M. E. Fetrow. I believe I have located the place on the SW shore of Long Lake near Alpena. The cabins were 3 rooms and included cooking facilities. They started at 17 bucks per week and included electric, ice and use of a boat. Groceries were available also. From this historical aerials it looks as though the buildings were gone by the 1980's. A private residence sits on the site now so I have used that address for reference.
