This motel was built in 1963 as Inn America. As you can see, the architecture was pretty amazing. It included a 3-room fine dining establishment known as the Camelot Room. It also had banquet facilities capable of serving 225 patrons. By 1969, it was sold due to financial problems and was re-branded the Crystal House Motel.
There was a popular disco called Zelda's Greenhouse operating there in the 1970's. Also Gatsby's, another restaurant which may have been the Camelot room re-imagined? Matt Chutich (known as the friendly Yugoslav), completely renovated the place in 1976. There wasn't much in the newspaper archives beyond that. By 2005, the motel was razed. There is a mixed retail development on that site as of 2022.
