This motel and restaurant combo was originally known as Best Western Tony London's. Up in Trout Lake, which is beautiful, this seems a bit oversized for the area. There are 3 lakes nearby so maybe it did OK for a while. I believe it was built in the 1960's as it doesn't appear on the 1950's aerial views.
This place must have had close to 60 rooms or more by the size of it. It had a pond out front, a pool, a deck, playground equipment, and a stand-alone restaurant. There also seems to be some sort of clubhouse or hall behind the restaurant. It was pretty much a full-featured resort. It had a nice setting with a full bank of tall trees behind it. Apparently the roof was replaced in 2021 so maybe there are plans to re-open it.
