The Caribe was pretty awesome when it opened in 1954. By 1963, it was already being robbed because of course it was. I have a feeling the name changed at some point as the newspaper mentions stop long ago. I am not sure how long the awesome sign lasted but the entire place was demolished sometime in the late 1990's from what I can tell. A used car lot occupied the lot for a while and that seems to be closed also as of 2022.
