This motel was operated by Jim and Erna Fender and it goes back to 1960 at least, probably well before that. By the 1980's it seemingly was converted to apartments then eventually closed for good. Google Maps does not indicate an operating business there but the building still stands. As is typical, the old flat roof design was replaced by a gable roof at some point.
