This place when by Park Plaza Motor Hotel and Park Plaza Motor Motel. It was conceived in the late 1950's and the architecture is a great example of the thinking at that time. It was built by the Gershenson Brothers, who later built the famed Ponchartrain Hotel, arguably one of the most iconic lodgings ever built in Detroit. They also built the Fairlane Inn which I have a page on also. The Park Plaza is present on the 1957 aerial photo even though it may not have been open yet. It was demolished sometime after 2016 and is now an empty lot.
