This old motel sits in what appears to be a renovated state as of 2022. Maybe it is being prepped for a sale or being used as something else but the motel listing comes up as "permanently closed". This is the neighborhood that sits in the shadow of the infamous ruins of the Packard Plant so I can imagine it wasn't easy to get customers here when the place was open.
The reviews for the motel are 3 years old and before so it probably closed in 2019. There is an effort underway to revitalize this neighborhood which would explain why the old motel looks so good now. There is another sign on the premises for Quality Behavior Health but I don't believe that is currently operating at this site either. I am sure someone will put the building to good use.
