I decided to add the Bay City location to this entry to document that. There were several Imperial 400 locations around the state. The address for Bay City was 50 6th St and it appears to be gone. It was opened in 1963 (costing $424,000) and sat facing Wenonah Park, next to the Veteran's Memorial Bridge which would put it about where DoubleTree by Hilton is as of 2025.
This place closed some time before 2018. It shows as being demolished as of 2019 with only the sign remaining. It was operating as the "Budget Inn" until that time.
