Cracker Barrel, founded by Dan Evins in 1969, started as a restaurant and gift store concept inspired by old country stores, aiming to provide a place for travelers to relax and enjoy a good meal. The name comes from the barrels of soda crackers that were used in old country stores, and the chain now has a Southern country theme with locations across the US.
Cracker Barrel doesn't have a huge presence in Michigan but I figured I would document the open ones as of April 2025. I will also look for the closed ones as is my habit. I already found a few closed ones which are designated as such below. Here is the list I have so far:
