From Wikipedia:
The Ground Round, an American casual dining chain founded in 1969 as an offshoot of Howard Johnson's, was known for its family-friendly atmosphere, classic comfort food, and signature touches like peanuts and Bingo the Clown, but faced challenges and eventually filed for bankruptcy in 2004, though a recent revival effort is underway.
I remember Ground Round, I went there a few times and it was pretty good from what I recall. There weren't that many of them in Michigan but I figured I would share what I found on the chain. Here is the list I have so far based on the work of Bobby Peacock.
