The Ceramic Inn started in the 1950's as a restaurant which also had some cabins to rent. In 1960 they stopped serving meals and became a full time ceramics shop including gifts and instruction on how to work with ceramics. Part of the reason was liquor by the glass being outlawed in that election according to Cora Waite who was operating the restaurant at that time. The last mention in the news archives of the ceramics shop was from 1976. It could have gone on after that however.
The last sign of a business reads "Stretch a Dollar Discount" from the 2012 street view, however that went under in 2008. There was a zoning variance requested for the property between 2016-2018 but it appears nothing was developed as a result. The building still stands but I am not seeing an operating business there according to Google Maps. Maybe it is just a private use building now.
