This circus tent-themed restaurant goes back to the 1940's or before and was situated on Ottawa Beach in Holland. The place was destroyed by fire in 1954. The proprietor Roy Young and his cat both survived the blaze. A new structure was built on the site by the Coast Guard in 1954. There is a restaurant called Beachplace at Holland Park Cafe out there as of 2023 which may occupy the same spot (or very close). This place is not to be confused with the Big Top Restaurant in St. Joseph which was at 2945 Niles Ave. That was another circus-themed place I may cover at some point.
