I went down the rabbit hole on this one. I saw the postcard below and got intrigued but I didn't expect to find so many contradicting locations and name changes for this place. In summary, this place was known as "The Hub", "Hub's", "Mr Jon's" (with and without the apostrophe), "Jonathan's Landing", "Just Between Friends", and "Shenanigans". Whew.
As for the location, it was listed as being 4-5 miles N of Petoskey, 1-2 miles N of Conway, and Oden. I settled on Oden as being the location. I found an old structure that used to sit next to where Crooked Sailors sits as of 2023. To make it more confusing, there are addresses in that stretch that use Oden, Conway, and Alanson mailing.
As for when this place was open, it goes back to the 1940's and continues through the 1980's or beyond with its various iterations. It was once kind of a dance hall with big bands, a disco, a motel, a restaurant, and everything in between. The structure itself seems to have been razed by the early 2000's. I could be wrong about the location but after over 2 hours of research this is the best I could come up with.
