As of 2023, the Owosso Auto Mall occupies the Burger Ranch lot and a modified version of the building. The unique barn motif can still be seen. Long gone is the iconic cow which used to sit out front. It had been stolen many times over the years and eventually ended up at a Coney Island restaurant and then disappeared. There were a few other Burger Ranch outlets around the state, I found mentions of Adrian at 422 N Main and 1407 W Maumee, Holt, and Hillsdale. Adrian had a cow too, no word on where he/she ended up.
The restaurant was known for the "Big Steer Burger". They also had chicken. It is obviously very similar in image to the old Red Barn chain but I am not sure which came first. I think Red Barn ultimately had more locations than Burger Ranch. The original ads for the Owosso location indicated 737 W Main but the building today sits at 731 so I will use that. The trade name was used in Israel until recently when the Burger King chain operated there under Burger Ranch. That has since closed down from what I am reading.
Unrelated but interesting is a location I found called "Jiffy Burger Ranch" in a 1972 Greenville High School yearbook. I will include it here for reference.
