This one is a bit confusing. There are a bunch of lighthouse inn's around the state, and even a version on the Canadian side. Apparently the structure of this restaurant goes back to the 1800's. That is according to the news report about the fire that destroyed it in 1998. I found what appears to be the opening announcement in 1909. Hopefully I have it all straight. I could only find one photo of the place but I will look for more.
The address is sometimes given as 6512 N River Rd, which no longer exists. As is common, street addresses get re-numbered over time. Even the historical aerial views are too fuzzy to pinpoint the location. There is an empty lot at 32100 so I will go with that for now. Evidently the owners wanted to rebuild after the fire but were turned down due to the lack of space for parking on that peninsula.
