There were 6 of these restaurants around the Detroit area when I was a kid. It was considered pretty nice at the time. The first restaurant opened on Woodward Ave in Detroit in 1916. In 1948, the firm announced a profit-sharing program for its employees. In 1960, 3 of the locations were sold to a firm in Toledo. Ted Rogvoy, renowned Detroit area architect, designed a few of the locations. I believe the chain was gone by the 1970's.
