Closed and demolished in 2015.
9/8/2015 - Jack Franklin
This theater closed August 20, 2015. The closest place for anyone in the area to see a movie now is across the border in the big Soo in Canada.
12/6/2014 - Trolleyguy
This theatre is scheduled to be torn down in 2015 so that a Meijer store complex can be constructed. There are no current plans to replace it.
11/16/2004 - Unknown
Yet another example of the Corrugated Steel Box school of theatre architecture. What a pitiful legacy of parsimony and soul-less efficiency the 1990s will leave, compared to the warmth and grandeur of the movie houses of the 20s and 30s. Its hard to imagine that these boxes will ever come to have any historic or visual value.
10/1/2003 - WaterWinterWonderland
This multiplex was put up right off the freeway to replace the Soo theatre downtown.
