The Crystal Theatre was opened on September 18, 1905. Designed by architect C. Howard Crane, it had an elaborated sheet metal facade. Seating was provided in orchestra and balcony levels.
It was closed for a while and reopened on February 2, 1908 as the Theatre Comique playing ‘High Class Continuous Perfomances’ of movies. It was closed in 1928.
