AMC opened the Forum 30 in Sterling Heights on November 25, 1999 — but no one has tried for the Forum’s scale since. Ryan Noonan, coummunications director for AMC, said the Forum is one of only nine 30-screen locations nationwide that the chain opened, all in the late-1990’s and early-2000’s. Nowadays this theater has an IMAX screens, MacGuffins Bar and Lounge and the auditorium are still stadium seating.
