The drive-in opened around 1950. It eventually became a XXX theater in the 1980's leading to obscenity convictions (see article below). The local community wasn't happy and eventually a fire of suspicious causes occurred. This doomed the old place. The last time I was there the old brick ticket booth was still sitting in the middle of the driveway which is now shared by a couple of homes. The brick framed marquee was still standing also with nothing on it. I am happy these remnants have been preserved. I need to back up there and see if they are still in place.
